What if I have to cancel due to COVID-19?
In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, we understand that travel restrictions could be in place for when you choose to travel. Should any relevant State and Federal Government Travel Restrictions mean that you will be unable to attend you reservation, we will allow a credit to be applied to a new booking within 3 years of your original dates, subject to availability.
If you are unable to stay due to contracting COVID and as a result you are required to isolate, evidence of your COVID illness is required in the form of an official PCR test or letter from your doctor. This evidence must be provided in order to postpone your stay.
** We strongly advise purchasing Travel Insurance to cover your loss should the unexpected occur.
What is your Cancellation Policy-
Due to the boutique, small nature of our 3-villa property, we are limited in our flexibility to cancel or amend reservations. With this in mind, all reservations require a 50% deposit at the time of booking.
If you cancel or amend your reservation/s:
- a) With more than 31 days notice prior to your arrival date, your 50% deposit will be refunded less a $75 administrative fee.
- b) 15-30 days notice is given prior to your arrival date, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total reserved accommodation will be charged.
- c) 14 days or less notice is given prior to your arrival date, you will be charged a cancellation fee equivalent to your total reserved stay.
What time is check-in?
Check-in is via a pincode anytime from 2pm.
Can I have an early check-in
Early check-in depends on other bookings at the time. We try to accommodate these requests. Please email closer to your arrival to see if this is available. If available, generally the earliest check-in we can do is 12.30pm.
What time is check-out?
Check-out is at 10.30am
Can I have a late check-out?
Late check-out depends on other bookings at the time. We try to accommodate these requests. Please email closer to your arrival to see if this is available. If available, generally the latest check-out we can do is 11.30am.
What deposit do you require?
We take 50% deposit at the time of booking to secure the booking. The remainder will be automatically deducted from your supplied credit card within 2 weeks of arrival.
How many people can sleep in the villa?
Two people can sleep in the separate king size bedroom and you can have 2 children on the sofa-bed in the living room (charges apply)
Can I book all 3 villas?
You can book all 3 villas. You can do this directly online or call Linda on 0400339995.
Can I bring my fur baby?
Unfortunately pets are not allowed at Lakeside Villas.
What cooking facilities do you have?
The Villas have a full kitchen with an electric stovetop, convection microwave oven, dishwasher, Weber BBQ, Nescafe coffee machine and all of the required utensils you might require in a kitchen.
Do you have washing facilities?
Each villa has a full laundry with washing machine and dryer.
Are you accessibility friendly?
We are wheelchair friendly and disability friendly with ramp entry from a private carport attached to the villa; grab handles in lavatory and shower; roll-in shower; hand held shower rose; shower chair and grip mat provided upon request; door jam ramp provided upon request; spacious rooms with 1m clearance around bed and living room furniture; 12cm gap under bed for hoist equipment. Are all of the Villas situated over the lake?
Yes. Each villa is identical in size, aspect and location on the lake.
Can I stay one night on a Friday?
We offer 1 night stays from Sunday-Thursday. We have a 2 night minimum on Friday and Saturday nights (even if you are wanting to book all three villas or attending a wedding on-site)
Do you have a minimum stay on public holidays?
We have a 3 night minimum stay during Public Holiday weekends, Christmas and Easter.
Can I purchase a gift voucher?
You may purchase a gift voucher online and a beautifully presented (print at home) voucher will be emailed to you immediately. Click HERE to purchase a Gift Voucher. All vouchers provide infinite validity and you may purchase any dollar amount towards a stay.
How do I redeem a voucher?
To redeem a voucher, you may do it online (if your code is more than 4 digits). Just enter the code at the payment section of your booking. If you have a code beginning in 17, 18 or 19 you will need to contact Linda on 0400 339 995.
How long is my voucher valid for?
Vouchers have an infinite expiry. We do however ask that if the price has increased 12 months after the purchase date- you pay the price difference if any.
What is the distance from Lakeside Villas to Stillwater Restaurant exactly?
Stillwater restaurant is on-site... just a short 2 minute stroll along the lake.
Do you have a minibar?
We have a minibar with local produce including Red Hill Cookies, Peninsula Nut Co., chocolates, spirits and of course wine!
Can my children stay?
Children can stay (generally on the sofa-bed in the living room). Children love feeding the ducks- just be careful with very young children on the deck.
Can you provide a cot or highchair?
We can provide a cot and highchair free of charge. Please request this in your booking.
Where can I park?
You have your own private carport adjoining the villa.
Can I fish in the lake?
You can fish in the lake, as long as you throw them back.
How far away is the city centre?
Dromana town centre and a stunning beach are approx. 3 minutes drive.
Can you recommend a restaurant open Monday night?
Upon booking, we will send you a comprehensive list of recommended places to eat- many of which are open 7 days.
