Crittenden Estate was first planted in 1982 and is now home to some of the oldest vines on the Mornington Peninsula.
Family patriarch Garry Crittenden was instrumental in establishing the Peninsula as a major inspiration for lovers of Pinot Noir, and today the second generation has taken the reins with son Rollo managing the winemaking and broader family interests, and daughter Zoe handling the marketing.
Linda Crittenden (Rollo’s wife) manages the 4.5 star luxurious Lakeside Villas, overlooking the lake and vines. Rollo and Linda’s young boys (Oscar-7yo and Digby-5yo) can often be seen running around the vines or feeding the ducks.

Crittenden Wine Centre
The Crittenden Wine Centre gives visitors to the Crittenden Estate family farm an insightful and fulfilling experience, encouraging them to taste and learn about the wines at their own pace in a seated, relaxed environment.
Upon arrival, visitors are welcomed and offered a place to sit and asked which varietals they are most interested in tasting. Visitors are then presented with tasting notes in written form, and experienced and qualified wine educators are on hand to guide them through the wines.
Crittenden Estate is well known for the diversity of wine styles it produces, which makes it an ideal venue for a tasting centre of this kind, with up to 26 wines available for tasting.
Awarded the Gourmet Traveller best wine Tasting experience on the Mornington Peninsula 2015, the seated, self-paced model of wine education and appreciation has proved to be very successful.
